Your work is amazing! I have never seen such wonderful sculptures done in polymer clay, and you have taken this art to the next level!! I have spent over half an hour exploring your website, which I find to be very interesting. Thanks for sharing your talent!Maggie

I have a couple of your emails and am very impressed with your sharing your work, experience, ideas etc and no fee? or does that come at the end of the yr?[chuckle] I’m a wood carver and it was recommended to me to try ssulpturing first then carve. An acquantance recommended classic clay by JF McCaughin. What do you think? I have little blocks of fimo clay but unfortunately don’t have the patience to knead it.

Hi Kay,
Kneading can be a pain, no pun intended, and I recommend that if you are going to do a lot of kneading that you get a pasta machine (I have an article on pasta machines under the Tools section on my site). I personally use Super Sculpey for most of my sculpting which is much easier on the hands (it is softer and a little spongy compared to Fimo). I would personally recommend picking up a box of Super Sculpey and trying it out. You can also mix it with Fimo if you want to stiffen it up a bit.
I’m not familiar with classic clay or JF McCaughin so I’ll have to check it out.
Good luck and happy sculpting.

I would like to buy polymer clay. Do you sell the clay?
From Bangladesh

Hi Shameem,
I actually do not sell polymer clay. I’m not sure where you would purchase
it in Bangladesh but you may want to check some of the sculpting forums
available like www.theclubhouse1.net or conceptart.org. There may be
sculptors from the same region that may be able to help you out.
